During economic hard times there are tons of people with many years experience and skills looking for work. Training for Newcomer Clients

The Connections Program is specifically designed for newcomer clients currently receiving assistance from OW and who have residency of 5 years or less in Toronto, and who have little or no work experience in Canada. This program provides a 12-week skills training that covers service excellence, MS Office XP suite, business English and a 6-week coop placement with a variety of employers in he private sector.The program has recently celebrated 15 years of anniversary training and placing newcomer clients in financial, hotel, travel and service industry.
